We would like to thank The Flood Hub / The Flood Hub People Team for supporting us with our stakeholder drop-in sessions following on from a flood incident. The team were very professional and approachable during the events, and when talking with the residents. They themselves were very knowledgeable, which was supported by the vast amounts of resources and information they had to offer to the residents.

…I approached The Flood Hub People for help. Wow how brilliant were they.

I was formulating the idea of a householder event where they could learn about measures they could take to help themselves. This event was held earlier this year and by far the most positive feedback was about their ‘stall’ and the information and advice they could offer. They never failed to know the answer and gave answers about things even I didn’t know e.g new business insurance. I can safely say The Flood Hub People/Flood hub would be the first invitees to any future events in Cockermouth.
