Christina

Head of Flood Resilience

Christina is Head of Flood Resilience and manages the Community Flood Resilience programme for the North West Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (NWRFCC).  This programme involves working with the various risk management authorities and communities at risk of flooding, to build awareness, resilience and skills. Christina has been involved with The Flood Hub from the initial concept and manages the team to continue the content development for the website.

Christina has a degree in Agriculture and started her career as a Rural Business Advisor. She started working in flood resilience 15 years ago and for the last 10 years has managed the team delivering the NWRFCC Community Flood Resilience programme.

  • Member, Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (MCIWEM)
  • Practitioner, Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (PISEP)
  • Registered Environmental Auditor with ISEP
  • HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training
  Interests

Christina has a passion for animals and spends most of her time with her dogs and horses and especially enjoys the breeding of Irish Draught horses. As a regular equestrian competitor, you will find her at many of the county and agricultural shows across the country.
