Flood Engagement Lead

As Flood Engagement Lead for the North West Regional Flood and Coastal Committee’s Community Flood Resilience programme, Andy supports individuals, businesses and communities to reduce flood impacts by raising awareness and building resilience. He works closely with flood risk management authorities and stakeholders, offering advice on flood resilience, Property Flood Resilience (PFR), insurance and planning. Andy also helps existing flood groups and supports the formation of new ones.

With a degree in Business and experience as a Contracts Officer on a community regeneration project, Andy began his flood sector career through a secondment opportunity. Finding the work rewarding, he moved into a flood advisory role and has since gained over 10 years’ experience.
