Lydia splits her role between flood engagement and the development of The Flood Hub website. When working with communities, she’s engaging with and informing them about flood risk and resilience, or she’s supporting existing and newly formed Flood Action Groups. When Lydia is developing The Flood Hub website, she’ll typically be writing content, creating and designing new resources, updating existing pages, problem solving or drafting up new ideas as The Flood Hub continues to be an accessible, current and clear flood resilience website.
Lydia’s favourite subject throughout school was always Geography and her enthusiasm continued when she studied Geography at Edge Hill University. Her role as a Flood Advisor allows her to pursue her interest in flood risk management, yet more importantly, she takes the opportunity to pro-actively help communities living at flood risk.

Interests
Lydia spends most of her time with her animals so she’s busy making sure those guys are well fed, looked after and walked. She enjoys a long weekend in the camper and has been busy ticking off must-visit campsites around the UK. In the future, she plans to take her camper through the Eurotunnel to start exploring France and further afield. |
